I live in Portugal and I bought an arlo go 2 wifi/LTE camera on amazon. When the camera arrived I couldn't connect it to LTE and I didn't know what was going on, after asking a lot I was told that cameras in the USA are different from those in Europe. Now I've spent the money and I have a camera that is useless. What I wanted was to exchange this camera for one made in Europe.

You would need to return the camera via Amazon if it's not going to work. I can't say whether using a SIM card from one of the Portuguese cell service providers would work but it may be worth a try. That would seem to be what's keeping the camera from connecting to cell service although connecting only to WiFi should still work.

Thanks for the answer. Yes the camera works fine with Wi-Fi.
The deadline for the return of the camera by Amazon however has already ended, because initially I didn't know why the LTE didn't work.
The camera is of no use to me as it was bought for surveillance in the countryside, where there is no Wi-Fi.
