Case update 00696179. Trying to respond to this case via 'update'. The below is all I get fror several days and therefore not able to update my case. How do I update my case?

At least in the past the link was truncated in the email. Try right-clicking on it (or long press on a phone) and copy the URL to be pasted into the browser.

I do not understand 'try right-clicking on it' - right clicking on what?

I click on UPDATE to update my case with my address as requested but it will not allow me to update

That refers to right-clicking (if using a computer) or long pressing (if using a phone) on the link in the email so you can copy the full URL.

Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.

I do not know what dm means, and I can not find -then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.

It stands for "Direct Message". The forum software calls it "Private Message" so "PM" means the same as "DM".

Start by looking for the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page:
If you don't see it there, then click on your profile icon, and choose "my settings". The setting screen @BrookeN is talking about is here:
So select "Preferences" in the top bar first, then you should see "Private Messenger" in the bar underneath that.
