Last Android app update of 10/18/2022 version 3.8_28488 is defective.


Device settings will not work on Samsung Galaxy S9. I have tried removing & reinstalling to no avail.


You can not turn on or off a device anymore from the cell phone app. I can from the same app on a Samsung Tab A.

 

Arm all devices is on yet you cannot turn the camera on or off from the app.

If off: Under Devices go to ... and it says "This device is currently disabled and will not respond to mode changes."

To enable the device, turn the device ON from the device settings."

If On: nothing except "REMOVE DEVICE"

 

Please reissue a new update ASAP!

Are you also seeing this in the PC browser (my.arlo.com)?

No it works fine in the Browser & on my Samsung Tab A.

 

The last update corrupted it on the Samsung S9 phone.

Installed OLD version 3.5.4_28395 released 8/26/2021 and that is working.

 

This is not the first time Arlo released a defective App update.

Arlo has not issued a new update so I had to use an old version. 

 

Installed OLD version 3.5.4_28395 released 8/26/2021 and that is working. I backup all my apps on my Android devises with Super Backup app and that has been a life saver.
