I have the essential xl for outside the only wifi we have is 5 hz it will not connect what do I do

It needs 2.4 Ghz. So you'll either need to

enable 2.4 ghz on whatever device is providing your outdoor wifi
get a wifi extender that gives you 2.4 ghz
purchase an Arlo base station.
