I used to be able to mark certain videos captured by my arlo cameras as "Favorites" and was able to find those "favorites" without any problems, now with the new update version I can supposably mark them as "Favorites" but there's no place where I can find those videos.

I have the "5.0.3_3" version.

Arlo community, how do I fix this problem? anybody else having the same problem?

Press the three dots in the upper right of the feed page.

  1. Press "Feed Settings"
  2. Press "Event Types"
  3. "Deselect all"
  4. Scroll down to "Favorites" and select it

Go back to "Feed" and all you will see is the favorites.  This is persistent, so you do need to go back to "Event Types" and select all.

This is rather tedious, I think a better approach is to immediately download the "favorites" to your phone.

I hope Arlo adds the feature to show Favorites from the library (adding a visible Star over the video icon). This was a very useful feature.

The simple solution would be to return to the previous arrangement where a “Favorite” recording displayed a small star in the corner of the feed thumbnail. That would avoid the now required, multi-step arrangement, when just searching for a single video.

Surely that wouldn’t be too hard for the programmers to implement ?
