How do I switch which camera is recording locally? I have a Pro 3 and an Essential Outdoor Camera. Currently, the Pro 3 has a subscription but will run out at the end of the month. I have plugged in the USB drive and have switched to local recording. The Pro 3 is only showing the USB icon and recording but not the Essential camera.  Is it possible to have one subscription for one camera and only record locally for a second camera? My Base Hub only has one USB slot.

Local recordings are saved for all cameras that are connected to the smarthub.  This is not selectable.

The first thing to double-check is that the Essential Camera is connected via the smarthub.  If it is instead connected directly to your home wifi network, then you will have to re-connect it to the smarthub to get local recordings.

Gilbertt,

If you have local recording enabled, any camera that is synced to the Base Station or Smarthub will record locally. If your Essential Outdoor Camera is synced directly to your home network rather than the base station, this could be why it's not recording locally.
