Does his account show "Feed" and "Dashboard"?  Or is he seeing "Library" instead?

Both accounts need to see the same user interface (UI). You mention the guest account isn't showing things in his Feed so it appears he has the new UI - but do you? If you use Library to view recordings, your account must be migrated to the new UI before he can see the cameras.

If both accounts are using Feed, he should click on Home near the top of his display and choose the bottom choice. Each user gets his own Home location so he has to choose yours. I suggest renaming Home to make this obvious.
