I’m in Puerto Rico and I’m trying to connect my 4 new essential outdoor camara and I’m unable to connect because The 2nd gen option does not appear in the app. There is a solution for these

    2nd Generation devices are not available for install in all regions at this time. While we do plan to expand the regions in which the cameras can be purchased/installed, I do not have any information available to share at this time.

When will 2nd Gen option be available in South Africa? Its really frustrating that no one is replying to in which countries this is available.

Tengo el mismo problema en Argentina , no puedo conectarla al WIFI , en la aplicación no figura la segunda generación de cámaras , deberían avisar que no esta disponible en determinados países , la compra la hice on line por Amazon y nadie me aviso

Same here. I recently bought 3 essential outdoor cameras (2nd generation) and i can't use them in Argentina!

Hi there, we are in 2025 and there has been no update and region issues to date since 2022. I wish I knew about this before I purchased 2 devices to use in the Caribbean.

wasted my money, this does not work outside of the US, they should place a banner on it so people is aware. What a terrible experience!

Bought a set of 3 outdoor essential XL with button on top.  The app doesnot list them.  I read everything in ths community amd basically Im dead in the water.  I live in Argentina and cannot return the cameras. Arlo never told

of this limitation. I need a solution asap

I'm having the same problem of not being able to complete set up. The pairing button is on the top of the cameras and not then bottom for the 2nd Gen Essentials system. We are in The Bahamas.
