Are you still experiencing this symptom?
May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.
Are any of these devices connected to a solar charger?

I have been to my father's house today, 75km away and where the camera are, and started charging the camera.
It has been charging for about 8 hours with powerbank, and has reached 80%.
This is really slow, and the other cameras charge a lot faster, about half the time.
It was necessary to plug and unplug charging cable several times, before the charging started.
The camera reacted with led flash(not sure if it every time), but the powerbank went off short after, like the camera didn't took power.
I must wait until the powerbank(10.000mah) run out of power, and se if the camera drain its self again in under 24 hou.

FWIW, I've also seen quite long charging times with my 2nd gen XL Essential - generally requiring me to leave the charger connected overnight.
I don't use a powerbank, I am using an AC charger that charges my other cameras much more quickly. The camera is being charged indoors, so temperature is not a factor.

I don't know have must larger yours battery are, and maybe the double size.
I got notification this night at half past one(Danish time), so the charging have been almost 12 hours.
The camera has used 0% so at this point it do not drain the battery, like last time.
