Local recordings not in library

Hi,
I have some Arlo essential spotlight cameras and recently my subscription expired so I thought I'd get a base station to record the videos locally instead but nothing is showing up in the app.

The videos are being recording as I can see them on the usb when I plug it into my PC.

Is this something that should work or is this yet another thing you need a subscription for?

The direct storage access feature requires the use of an Arlo SmartHub (VMB5000 or VMB4540) You can find more info regarding this here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062337
