I had used 2 Arlo-Q cameras very satisfied
I ordered 'essential indoor 2nd gen' but fail setup it.
I tried change wi-fi network to 2.4Ghz -> Failed
I am living in south korea, and 2 assumptions of connection failure.
1. I cannot use Arlo secure 4.0 app due to country location
2. I need to pay Secure plan to use essential indoor 2nd gen
Please let me know how to use this.
do I need to use VPN app to disguise me in the US for using 4.0 app? or I need to pay secure plan?
I need to quickly refund it if I cannot use it until my country is supported.
Thank you for your help.

SouthKorean,
Arlo Generation 2 cameras cannot be onboarded in South Korea at this time. Arlo will be launching Generation 2 cameras in more areas in the future, keep an eye here on the community and on arlo.com for announcements and availability updates.

I'm not sure at all that you can't use the latest app versions due to being in Korea but you can't get a subscription because your country isn't supported:
https://kb.arlo.com/000062249/Where-is-Arlo-Secure-available
That shouldn't prevent you from initially connecting the camera but, because you can't get a subscription, you would also likely not be able to get the trial subscription either. That would render the camera useless.
You can use a VPN to a supported country but you would need a new account that was created when using that VPN as well as using a credit card that was from that country so you could purchase a subscription. Once that was all configured, you wouldn't need the VPN to use the camera.
