I can't sync my Arlo Essential Outdoor 2nd Gen with my VMB4540 hub

Hello, what is the solution to this problem? I have a VMB4540r3 base station whose firmware version is 1.25.1.0_1687_1f1c874, but my Essential 2Gen indoor camera model is not present in any Arlo app list as an option to pair it or add it as a device. I just listed the first generation essential camera model (the one with the pairing button on the bottom).

Generally this means that the camera is not available in your country.  What country are you in?

Hello Stephen,

I am in Argentina. I already have 6 Arlo cameras, older models, and they all work fine.  Is this restriction new? How do I know which models I can use in my country?

Several of the newer models only show up in countries where Arlo offers subscriptions.

 

IMO a bad idea - I don't know why Arlo does that, or if/when the gen 2 cameras will show up in your app.
