Hi,
I am visiting my parents for a few weeks and brought my baby monitor with me.
Both my parents and I have our own separate Arlo accounts.
I updated the WiFi network on the baby monitor to their WiFi and can now see it through my account.
Can I add the same baby monitor directly within their account? Or do I need to separately grant them access through my account?

Each account owns the camera so you can't "own" on two accounts. That's the purpose of the grant access capability - share without owning.
