Chime wont sync with base station - Orange/Red Light

All my cameras are working sync'd fine (ULTRA base station and cameras)
Doorbell sync'd fine
Tring to add the chime has been troublesome. I have tried factory reset. Even tryed postioning the chime next to base station. But same result after the white flashing lights - it goes orange (or red.) and does not connect.
Any ideas?

It may be faulty. Swap at the store.

@jguerdat No. Replaced it same problem.
I removed both the chime and the door bell.
Now can't add the door bell either.
