Hi all,
I’ve been wondering if anyone has tried adding 5+ cameras to HomeKit without having an Arlo subscription. A while back, we could only have 5 cameras per hub without a subscription, so I’m wondering if using HomeKit would be an alternative. In particular, I’m wondering for cameras requiring a hub.

Anyone tried this? Basically, use HomeKit for a bunch of cameras, without a Smart subscription.

FYI, 5 cameras per account - not per hub.  This still applies for the older cameras (pro, pro2, ... )

Also, if you don't have a subscription you still get notifications and live streaming - but you don't get cloud storage (with the newer cameras), cloud activity zones, or smart notifications.

I don't use Homekit, but I don't see how it would give you any of the paid subscription features.  They are all provided by  the Arlo cloud.
