Scrypted on Synology?

Anyone using Scrypted on a Synology NAS instead of using the Arlo App and recording to HomeKit rather than paying for an Arlo subscription?  Any feedback? Pros/Cons?  I’m currently paying for two locations with Arlo and this looks like a potential alternative option.  I was able to get it running and test one of my 5S cameras in Honekit.  Thanks!
