Is there any way to schedule the cameras to record for, let's say 1 minute every day at 8:00 am, without relying on motion detection.
I mean, all cameras would record wether or not motion is detected.

OK, thank you.
That's too bad, I think it would be a cool feature with minor development cost

Yes this can easily be done with an ifttt recipe.
Register with them and use the "Date and Time" channel and the "Arlo" channel.
It would be if "Date and Time" = this, then "Arlo" Start recording.
I've created a few recipes and they seem to work fine.
So one recipe I created will start recording on a camera when a Wemo Switch has been activated. So whenever that Light turns on, because of a motion sensor I have out front, that particular camera starts recording.
It would be easier if Arlo was actually compatible to zwave devices, it would have been easy to just say if the motion sensor activates start recording. Oh well, I got it working in a round about way.

Can this be done for snapshots rather than video recordings? It would be nice to be able to do time lapse rather than video to monitor some situations.

I did not see that ability on Arlo's channel, hopefully they will add that in the future.
