I restarted the VMB4540 and it is discoverable.  What should I do?

Can you go in to your app and find the Settings tab > HomeKit and try and pair?

Hello Shayne, I am getting the following message on Homekit

"This accessory has not been certified to work with HomeKit so some features may not be available"

Also on the bottom it is saying...

HomeKit Certified: No

Please let me know how to proceed.

Regards,

Enrique

@eestrad1

What is the Arlo device you are trying to pair with HomeKit?

The VMB4540, then I would like to pair my four Arlo cameras.

One is a wired Arlo door camera and have three Arlo Pro4 cameras as well.

Have you tried this method within the Arlo mobile app?

How do I connect my Arlo camera to Apple HomeKit?

To setup an Arlo camera without a setup code:

  1. Launch the Arlo app on your Apple device.
  2. Tap Settings > My Devices.
  3. Select an Arlo base station.
  4. Tap HomeKit.
  5. Select the base station you want to add to HomeKit.
  6. Select a Home or tap Add New Home.
If you don’t have a Home set up in the Arlo app, you are directed to create a Home.
  7. Select a Room or tap Add a New Room.
If you don’t have a Room set up in the Arlo app, you are directed to create a Room.
  8. Tap Continue to add devices to HomeKit to add cameras or additional base stations.
  9. Continue through the setup flows to confirm the name and room placement for each device.
Note: The name that you give each device is used for Siri commands. Choose a unique name that is easy to remember and pronounce.
  10. Confirm the name of the device.
  11. Tap Skip, or rename any other devices as needed.
  12. Tap Finish.
Your devices are ready to use with HomeKit.

I have tried everything.  So far this is where I am stuck at.

1. HomeKit does recognize my base station VMB4540, however it does say that it is not HomeKit Certified

2. I have attempted to add accessory through HomeKit and asks to Scan a Setup Code or hold the iPhone near Accessory.  I have done this many times and it does not work.
