I got 2 arlo cameras in January 2026 and it has been a NIGHTMARE dealing with ARLO. We should all get refunds and Arlo should shut down. Customer service is None existent. The chat doesn't work by design so they only way to get help WHICH YOU WILL NEED WITH ARLO BECAUSE IT NEVER WORKS is to call and spend hours on the phone trying to solve what other companies like RING (cheaper andway more reliable than Arlo) have already figured out and don't make their customers fight to get what we are paying for which is consistent service which they have failed to provide for so many of their customers. just Google theor reviewa. I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET HELP FOR WHY MY CAMERAS CAN'T MANUALLY RECORD EVEN THOUGH I PAY TO, WHY THEY DON'T CAPTURE THE BEGINNING AND END OF PEOPLE COMING ON MY PROPERTY EVEN THOUGH IT IS SET TO. LAGS SO BAD NO MATTER HOW CLOSE TO ROUTER, SOUND IS NOT CLEAR. IM SICK OF PAYING MONTHLY FOR A SERVICE I'M NOT GETTING. Wouldn't be surprised if Arlo was sued in a class action lawsuit.

Can you send a short video of what happens when you try to record manually please. You can send that via dm. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.

I am so frustrated and disgusted at how much time I have spent trying to get help from you (Arlo) before realizing your customer service and producs are absolutely terrible and not worth my time and effort. I would rather spend my time looking in to buying a different brand (or even go back to ring!) before I waste another second on your **bleep**ty overpriced camera, service, and customer service. Ioay for the service plan even though it constantly misidentifies movement, doesn't capture movement coming or going just random spots in the middle even though set to record everything, LAGS SO BAD ALL THE TIME, doesn't record live when I want it to (I swear it's because ya'll trying to save your storage even though I pay monthly for it). SHAME ON YOU ARLO. BUYERS BEWARE ARLO LIVES UP TO IT'S BAD REVIEWS.
