Like several other posts, I had a problem with showing my doorbell camera only when triggered by an Alexa routine. My Echo Show will show the camera with a voice request no problem and the routine will work when manually played. However, it does not work when there was an actual trigger(motion in my case). Alexa says Doorbell is not responding. I finally figured out that the problem is that I also record motion through the Arlo app. It seems like it can’t access the camera stream when the doorbell is recording or even when just streaming live in the Arlo app.  I now have to choose between recording the event and being able to show the camera on the Echo show. Seems like a real deficiency with the doorbell. Will this ever be supported? Do other doorbell cameras support more than one operation at the same time?

Hi @etsuch99

What you are experiencing is by design. This device doesn't not support dual streaming. You have the option to choose to show on the Alexa show or record video.
