As I use Gmail and there is no push function for use on a Mac it can take 15 minutes before an email is notified to me. Is there any way or any future update to have a text warning that is sent directly to the phone?

Just remember, the email is sent AFTER the recording is finished and done... ( pushes on android/ios come ate the start of trigger event )
So if you recording is 60 secs long, an email should be 10-20 sec additional only ... if working well

If I understand you correctly, the telephone approach that you suggested will be pushed at the beginning of the recording whereas the standard email process is after the recording stops or is it the other way round?
