We have a three camera system for security in georgia and have been very happy with arlo.
We have not changed settings in three months - however the push notifications stopped appearing in the msn email approx 2 weeks ago.. They worked for 3 months and stopped two weeks ago.
The push notification is still checked as active and i still get them on my ios device.
I checked spam and did not see arlo being blocked within msn.
We looked thru the community and did not see it as a new general issue like the lag in the videos appearing - so it seems it is just happening with us.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance

carnaval,
It's may be that your e-mail provider has blocked the incoming Arlo alert e-mails. Try adding a different e-mail address to your rules and see if you get alerts at the newly added address to isolate the issue further.

Hmmm... I get emails properly through Gmail. Silly question but have you checked your spam folder? It may also be that MSN has started filtering emails from Arlo so you might want to check with support there to ask the question. It might also be worthwhile to turn off email notifications in your mode(s), save, and then re-enable them and save again. Maybe the mode needs resetting?
Edit: OOPS! Reread your message and see that you've already checked spam.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I added two additional emails to the notification. an msn email and a gmail.
The msn email never received the invite. It did not appear in spam or elsewhere
The gmail emal invite arrived and was used to receive notifications.
While we did not test to confirm notifications as no motion yet - the fact that the msn invite never arrived suggests msn is blocking
thanks - will update if we still have any issues

Thanks - I was travelling this week and so apologize for the late reply.
We added two emails to receive notifications. An msn and a gmail. The msn email invite never appeared while the gmail invite appeared and was used to link the account to arlo
We hope the notifications will now appear
Thanks again for your support
We love the arlo system. Although the video archiving still not working as good a prior to Christmas update - we are still happy.
thanks

Try toggling the email notifications off and back on. Be sure to save rules and mode as you do this.

Tried toggling the email notification piece deselecting email, then saving. Then selecting email notification, then saving. Further, I also added an alternative email address that I didn't use before, also with no email notification.

Tried one other thing that was strange. I removed my Outlook.COM account and just used my Gmail account for the email notification and that worked. So now I'm getting Gmail notifications. I then tried to switch back to Outlook.COM and no emails there. Must be getting filtered at a higher level than at the user level. Thanks for the help.

Never used Outlook so can't speak to how the software or servers operate. Do the emails show up in a spam folder? Is this a private account or a business one?

Hi, it's a personal account on outlook.com (formerly Hotmail). Nothing in my Spam Folder and I also explicitly allowed email from "alerts@arlo.com". I think it's being filtered by outlook.com itself. Might be something that needs Netgear to address with MSFT? Currently, my GMAIL account works great.

While Netgear may be able to work something out with MS, I'd also suggest contacting support on outlook.com to see what they say.

Did this ever get resolved? Notifications to my outlook.com e-mail suddenly stopped working this past weekend. Changed to a g-mail account and that works, but not my first choice.

peterK,
It sounds like the affected email is filtering or blocking emails from Arlo. Be sure the emails are not arriving in a spam/quarantine folder. You might also consider contacting your email provider to inquire if the emails are being blocked.
