Hi tom still unsure about motion enabled and all motion on which is best and why are there two options.

If you mean MOTION DETECT TEST under settings, that is for setting up the camera to a good starting point re sensitivity and location. The LED wil falsh when motion is detected ( no recording )

 

If you mean ALL MOTION ON, that is the older name of the new default ( since Jan 2016 ) which is ARMED.

 

Armed turns all the cameras on so if motion is detected it will start a recording.
