Just keeps spinning. I think this has some thing with why motion my motion detection isnt working

Yes.
I have also tried reseting the entire installation process. It seems that modes is how to set the motion dection up but when i click modes it just freezes and does pull anything up.

App or browser? Try a different mechanism/browser and see if the same thing happens.

I tried both the app and the browser...I reset the entire installation and it is still just spinning. Hasnt work since I purchase three weeks ago.. 😕

Check your firewall and router settings to ensure that ports 80 and 443 to Arlo are enabled. Sounds like some security setting is blocking access. You could try disabling your firewall/AV software as well as put the base station in the router's DMZ for testing. If it works then, some setting needs work.
