mode setting not available

Why does it take a long time for the Mode page

in the Android app to update ?

 

I can switch to "Camera" or "Library" pages and

they will show the "Status" after some delay but

the Mode status sometimes never is available.

 

The base station name shows but it is stuck at "Getting status"

I noticed this sort of thing yesterday when modifying things for the first time in a long time.  I logged out and back in and all was well. There seems to be some backend issues being worked on - perhaps this is one of them.

when the base station names shows, have you tried tapping on the name?  seems to work on my android ( 4.4.2 )

Sometimes the base station name is visible but the 

Mode setting window is still locked with the "Getting Status" message.

Logging out and in does not always help.

 

I seems that this could be a backend problem

as it seems to occur when logging into the app

is slow.

 

The strange thing is I can view the "Cameras" and "Library"

windows (sometimes slowly in the case of the Cameras) but

when I switch to the "Mode" window, I am stuck at "Getting status".

Are you experiencing any issue when using the web browser or have you isolated this solely to the app?

I see the problem while using to Android app.

 

I use the web browser at home and the app from

my mobile devices.

 

I wil try the browser from my mobile device the

next filme I have the problem.

 

ps. The problem seems to be worse in the afternoon,

maybe related to load on the server ??

You won't be able to access the web browser ui from a mobile device. It will redirect you to the app. When I asked about the web browser I meant do you experience any issue when accessing your account from a PC.

Ok, I will see if I can try it from a PC here at work the next time

the app is acting up.

 

Naturally, every thing if working fine atm

There's a way around that. Depending on the exact browser, you can request the desktop site by selecting that check box from Chrome's or Firefox's menu. I have the "Desktop by Default" add-on in Firefox so it always gets the desktop version. Dunno about Safari.
