The motion detection records late on all my cameras and then only records for a maximum of 10 seconds. Any advise out there to correct the problem I'm getting discouraged.

Bwinter,
Due to the cameras being battery powered, they sleep until a rule triggers them to wake up and record a motion detection event. This sometimes can result in a slight delay to allow the camera to wake up. For more information on how to make sure you are getting the best performance from your Arlo Wire-free camera take a look at this article: Optimizing motion detection performance on Arlo Wire-Free cameras
Your cameras recording length can be increased by editing the rule that triggers that camera to recording when it detects motion. Log in to your Arlo account and navigate to Mode > click the pencil icon for the mode you use for motion detection > click edit for the desired rule > click the pencil icon next to Record Video. This will allow you to change the recording length.
I hope this helps!
