How do I set up a rule that shuts off motion detection? I can lower it to 1%, however, I don't see an option to turn it off.

Thanks for the input on this thread.
As of Jan-27-2017, the ARLO NETGEAR LOGIN site, gave me this solution: - Custom MODE + several RULES for each camera.
Thanks. -Nap

Continuation of above post:
Pic can be seen by logging into NETGEAR forum, -OR- by going to here:
PS: I could only un-check the SEND EMAIL ALERT, by turning Recording ON, if an Audio is detected in the family room.
Alternative is to keep the SEND EMAIL ALERT, but send to a dummy email address.
I also mentioned the date of my custom MODE settings, above in my first post , since the ARLO NETGEAR website, seems to be in flux, each year.
Regards, -Nap

Depends on what you're trying to do. If you want all cameras disarmed so nothing is detected/recorded, use the MOde tab and use the Disarmed mode. If you want to disable a specific camera, it may be better to use Settings, My Devices, your camera, On/Off slider. That will disable the camera rather than disarm it.
Or are you after something else?

Unfortunately, that's not the full story. WHEN do you want them off/disarmed? It sounds like you need to make custom modes with only the specific cameras enabled. Go to the Mode tab, click on your base and create a new mode. Set up one camera and save. Reedit the new mode to add additional cameras. Any camera with no rule is disarmed. Create another new mode with a different set of cameras if needed and perhaps use the schedule.
