My husband's iPhone allows him to get silent, but visible, push notifications. I desperately do NOT want my phone to vibrate, but I'd like to see push notifications (essentially, silent). Does anyone know how to do that with Android? Or if it's an option? It's really my only complaint about the app.

Vibration control on Android is generally a whole device setting. You can go into phone settings, Sounds and Notifications and turn off vibration. If that doesn't work for you, perhaps an additional app might help. The Arlo app doesn't have a setting but is controlled by the system-wide setting.

Yeah, I have the 'vibration off' for the Android itself. But, this app uses the vibrate for notifications. And, I've ready eslewhere there is no way to change the notification sound itself. Sigh. I wish Arlo would allow that. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the system.
Thanks!

NomsDeGuerre,
Welcome to the community! You are correct in that there is no way currently to change the notification sound for the Arlo app. There are some threads in the Arlo Idea Exchange discussing this, I encourage you to visit and kudo them to support the idea.
You can turn off vibration for notifications within the android settings though. Within your phone settings navigate to "Sounds and notifications" and you can mute notification vibration under the "Vibration intensity" setting.
Regards,
JamesC

Not true for android 6.3 - at least on Motorola Droids.
