There is no pencil there to edit anymore , unless im missing something ..  edit , found them !

With a recent update to the UI, some of the icons have changed to create a better user experience.

To enable/disable email notifications log in to your Arlo account and navigate to Mode > select your base station/camera > click the (>) icon next to the desired mode > click edit next to the desired rule > toggle email alerts as desired

Does anyone know how to turn off email notificiactions from the "schedule" mode?

You don't.  The schedule isn't a mode and simply uses your modes so edit your modes to turn on/off notifications.
