App crashing upon opening schedule so i updated it. After the update now the "RULES" won't open.

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app?  I am running Note Edge on 5.0.1 and that's what worked for me.

Thank you for the prompt reply but I've tried that several times and still nothing. I like the camera and would like to keep it but all the bugs/kinks are getting irritating. Sigh

Good afternoon Aquafella,

 

It is possible you're experiencing an issue with mis-configured modes. Here's how to check for correct settings:

 

  1. Log into your Arlo account
  2. Click/tap Settings
  3. Click/tap Modes
  4. Click the pencil icon to the right of the label All motion on
  5. Ensure all cameras have a GREEN check mark next to them

Note: If the check mark is currently BLACK that is a good indication the mode somehow got into a bad state.

 

For good measure you may also want to perform this same check for All motion off and ensure the check mark for all of your cameras are black.

Unfortunately there is NO pencil icon appearing on the modes.
