To my knowledge ( not confirmed yet ) is that there is no longer data limits OTHER than days of your service level... ( 7, 30, or 60 days )

I'm also looking for the current storage usage stats; it would be a nice surprise if the storage limit was lifted, entirely.

Can anyone officially confirm?

I believe so.  If I understand Favorites properly, it's simply a mechanism to quickly filter the library view.  If you want to have something to keep, download it!

Why won't they say that. This recent upgrade turned out to be a major downgrade, too many functionalities were removed or changed for the worse.

Lets not be dramatic. They essentially changed it to Unlimited storage over 7 days. For me its perfect, no more filling the storage up and deleting things.

To my knowledge all the other functionality stayed the same just moved around a little...

Things I noticed and that people initially moaned about:

- Sensitivity still there but on a more sensible scale of up to 10 not 100
- battery level still there after a quick fix from the team
-Not being able to see the data restriction which now doesnt actually exist

New nice functionality I noted-
- Arlo q support
- disable IR
- view date and video preview in the Library at the same time
- long press to select videos in Library
