Right now I currently have to manually adjust the brightness depending on the time of day, day or night. Without doing this at night my camera will have trouble picking up certain objects past my porch unless they are lit up or wearing reflective clothing because the brightness is too low. Then in the day the image is not as clear as it could be because the brightness is too high. Leaving the brightness in the middle just leaves me with a mix of the two bad range at night and in the day. The way around this is to manually adjust the brightness every morning and every night. Which is impossible. So I believe a quick solution would be to have a separate brightness slider that could be activated by time or by the night vision being activated.

Rather than attempt to adjust manually,  Create a custom mode for each conditon called like Morning and Night.

You can then easily swap conditons with a button push of the proper mode
