I have scripts to automate downloading videos but the ability to recover deleted videos no longer works.  Apparently the housekeeping on the servers has improved so they can't be recovered easily.  It behooves you to download your videos proactively so deletions/server burps/clumsy fingers/etc. don't bite you in the arse.
