It would be useful to have Arlo save the 10-30 seconds before motion detection to assist in 'caught in the act'. I know that dash cams behave this way:
If motion (g-force) is detected, save 30 seconds prior to the event from the stream, to witness the act, plus the configured, post-motion time."

That way, if someone breaks in, I can see their method of entry prior to the camera actually catching the motion.

That could certainly be useful but it implies that the camera is always recording, using up the battery. Since there's no way to predict when motion detection would kick in, recording would need to always be taking place and cycled out as the small buffer fills.  That would work fine for devices that are remotely powered but would effectively be like using live view all the time and hitting record on motion.

it would be very interesting to have this implementation system video before the detection of motion.
High consumption of batteries is not a big problem.
If implemetate this system your project is complete in every part.
