Multiple modes/schedules

Would like the ability to have different schedules for different cameras. Some I would prefer to always record motion. Some I would like to have scheduled.
Would like the ability to select multiple modes for multiple house locations. One mode for the summer home. One mode for the northern house. All with scheduling based on each camera.

Oh boy, this has been discussed in great length in the forums. Search the forums for enlightenment.

Some key points about modes, rules and schedules:

1. Only one mode can be active at any given time.
2. As a result, create as many modes as you need combinations of cameras to be active at any given time.
3. You can manually activate a mode or have the Schedule do the activating and deactivating of modes for you.

It sounds like what you are asking can already be done with the system, you just need to know how to program it.

So, for example, if you have a time of day when you want cameras A, B and C armed, create a mode with three rules, one for each of cameras A, B and C.

If at another time you want only cameras A and B armed, create a new mode, with two rules, one for each of camera A and B.

And so forth.

Subsequently, place each mode you created on the Schedule according to the time and day you want it to be active.

What if we wanted to use Geo-Fencing but during the night when I am sleeping I wanted the camera active from 10 PM till 7 AM? Is this possible?

Yes.  You just need to set Home and Away appropriately.  You could use either a mode or the schedule when home.  Give it a try - the answer should become clear as you step through the process and become acquainted with it.
