What is the difference between adjusting motion sensitivity when setting up a camera vs adjusting % of videos when setting up a rule for the same camera?

"more videos, less videos" is the sensitivity slide bar ...so higher number is more sensitive,

the other slide bar is the time limit of the record for each motion detect event

So what is the motion dection test for when setting up the camera?  The problem I found is the camera is too slow to starting so I am missing most of the action.  When I turned up the more videos, I got a lot of false flags from leaves and branches blowing.

the motion detect picks up IR or the reflection... best is if the camera is angled down so what your trying to get is within 15-20ft max

According to what I read, the motion detection test is used to determine the sensitivity then you take that number and apply it to the rule for that camera. I found that in the knowledgebase. Hope this helps.
