A suggestion, instead of a set recording time why can't the Arlo be modified to start recording when motion is detected and continue until motion ceases. It would allow for more complete recordings.

That could end up costing battery life but that's up to the user to determine. Multiple videos can be recorded using the "same" motion duration but there would be gaps in coverage. I just increase the length based on typical duration rather than to use multiple videos since motion may not be detected during the same sequence.
