I have 5 cameras. 3 of the 5 are not detecting motion. All motion is on and all cameras set at 80%.Those Cameras that work, are sluggish. By this I mean, the cameras ,at times, detect motion almost after the fact. On the garage cam, the vehicle is half way in the garage before the cam kicks on. Normally, the cam kicks on while I'm driving up to the garage door. I have no low battery signal; I,ve shutdown and restarted the base station. Any suggestions or a remedy to this problem?

The PIR ( device that detects motion) seems to be a bit more sensitive on the edges and corners...
Try and position the cam so the movement you want to capture enters from the sides ( which is why they say movement accross the field of view is better )
Also try not to cover to much area ( or there may be a lot of false detects )

There is a short delay inherent in the system. Delays depend on a lot of factors. Those factors include Internet speed, The stress on Arlo servers , weather , temperature and the position of your cameras. If your cameras are pointed straight at the subject you will find potential long delays or possibly no motion detection at all. Try to reposition your cameras on an angle, and play around with the sensitivity settings.

Thank you, your response is very helpful. It seems the sluggish and no response of the cam to movement, has cleared up on it's own. The internet, being the probable culprit, has had issues lately. I will reposition the garage cam and work with the sensitivity of it. Again thank you for your helpful response.
