So my camera out back is driving me crazy -- there is no way to move away from trees all the way -- I have decreased the sensitivity - anything else I can do -- I have even move it - no where to move it withou camera viewing trees - sensitivity is down to 34%

Post a still shot from your camera. That way we can give better advice.

Other things you can try:

  • Make sure your camera is pointed downwards as much as possible, perhaps even so much that trees are not in the camera's field of view. In addition you may try mounting your camera higher.
  • Try mounting your camera upside down and/or adding a little visor on the underside of the camera to block part of the field of view from the motion sensor. The motion sensor is below the lens, it is above the lens when mounted upside down. Use the Invert Image toggle on the camera's Settings page to adjust for the upside-down image.
  • Consider orienting and placing the camera such that it is pointing towards your house from a few feet away, rather than pointing away from and mounted on your house. A tree or pole - if available - can act as a good mounting point.
  • Consider installing an additional camera using it only as a motion sensor. Mount the additional camera in such a way that it senses motion better than your recording camera. Create a rule that will record with your existing camera when motion is detected by your additional camera.
