Laser pointer disabling motion sensor on n camera?

Not to my knowledge... it's a simple PIR device

Any laser pointer aim at any outside camera will temp disrupt the video feed by washnig out the entire view... and there is a possibility of some damage to the actual camera lens sensor in the long term exposure, but i don't see major damage to the PIR....
This would also have to be held steady, hitting the same pixels on the camera image procsessor. Tests have shown single pixel damage but not entire view via exposure.
So , in my option , NO, not a major issue .... BTW, you would be able to see a falsh of the laser pointer in the recorded video feed.
