The motion detection is working very fine. But a neighbor harassing me everyday after seeing the camera came later back droping another harassing note under my door without being detected. Is it possible for someone to block the motion detection? How can I prevent this?

While possible, it's not likely. The more likely case is that your camera could be better positioned to catch motion. It's also possible that the neighbor snuck under the view of the camera to avoid detection. Post a screenshot of the scene for the camera and add a description of where things are.
Best detection is motion across the FOV, starting at an edge. A common issue is having the camera see too much scene - aim it where you really care. Distance also plays a factor.

Hi. Thank you for your quick feedback. Here a post of the entrance at the end of the staircase of the building. You can see the memo under the door to its right. I also post a photo of how I repositioned the camera to see more of the staircase. In the morning (before he posted the memo) he came and the carmera spot the top of his head, there the camera showed a bit less of the staircase. Last shot is how I repositioned the camera now to have even more of the staircase. Will this be work out?

It's too bad that the space is so limited. While it would be a bit of a pain to view, you could turn the camera 90 degrees so motion starts at the left edge rather than in the middle. Might be worth a try to see what happens. While Arlo doesn't provide the capability to view the video at 90 degrees, other free software does, if needed.

If possible, I would mount the camera on the HIGH wall , opposite your door. ( before going crazy tho, try step #3 )
Set the motion sense up near 90%-94%...( not much outside interference here so high may work better )
1) the area would be hard for the person to reach as it does have some good height while still not to much down angle on person
2) the camera should pick up the person coming up the stairs and with the slight delay, you'd get them at the top and turning around for a positive face view. It may even catch them at the side of PIR when on the lower side steps coming up.
3) to make the camera appear to react faster ( slight of hand trick ) since the area is small...
goto pan/zoom and shrink down the view by about 15%.... then re center the view to what you want...then save.
** this appears to make the camera react faster as the PIR covers the whole field of view even if the picture is cropped... the PIR then senses before the person enters the 'cropped view' ( helps to lessen / eliminates the apparent delayed start ) .

Hi, super thanks for the tips, I ll make a try. The police came today and the camera spot it mid of the staircase. Speeding the recording will certainly help. I ll try to reposition the camera.
