Geofencing issues

I figured if one or both phones where home it wouldn't activate Armed mode, it appeares when I leave and my wife is home it Arms the cameras. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

A common troubleshooting step is to remove both phones and readd them.

Thanks! We're seeing this issue too. Adding/ removing cameras hasn't helped. Tried it multiple times. One of the side effects is that now one of our phones shows up twice in the app and there's no way to remove it.

 

Also, it seems like a recent issue. It was working fine about a few weeks ago.

Note that I suggested removing both PHONES and readding them, not the cameras.  Any luck?

Yep, that's what I did.

 

I removed the phones from "enabled devices" and re-added them. I even uninstalled the apps on both phone and reinstalled them a couple times. Now, I see double instances of both of my phones in the device list too.

 

The geofencing had been working well for the past 6 months or so since we got the Arlo Q. I remember over the holidays there was an app update and since then the geofencing hasn't worked correctly.

 

Not sure if it matters, one of them is iPhone 7 and the other is iPhone 6S.

Seems like the I phones have been having issues. Inonlybuse Android so can't comment.
