Hi all--

Apologies if this is already addressed. We have 2 enabled devices on our Arlo account and it's unclear to me what logic Arlo is using.

Does it switch to Away mode if one of the 2 devcies are out of the geofence or if both have to be out?

I think there have been times when one device is in the geofence area, one is out, and yet Arlo has switched to Away mode.

Hope that makes sense.

skibumPNW,

Geofencing is designed to operate on a "first in, last out basis". This means that if any device is in the Geofencing radius the "Home" mode will enable, and the "Away" mode should only enable when the last device has left the radius.

If you are having trouble with this, consider refreshing your enabled devices within Geofencing settings. Disable all listed devices, save and then enable the devices again.

Also be sure the app stays logged in, is running and location is enabled on your devices. If the app is logged off/not running Geofencing will not work.

Geofencing is still a Beta feature at this time and the engineering team is working hard to improve it. We appreciate any and all feedback related to this feature.

Thanks, JC. I'll refresh the devices. It was only once or twice out of many times where the Geofence didn't seem to be following the "first in" rule, but I'll be the first to admit that it might be the mobile device. If I get a consistent problem I will re-post on this thread, if that's the best way to send feedback.

skibumPNW,

I look forward to the feedback. As this feature is still in Beta, it is definitely appreciated. Posting in this thread is a great way to leave feedback as other users who may be experiencing the same or a similar issue can chime in with their experience.

Thank you for your contribution,
