I'm trying to use geofencing, but haven't been able to get it to work for about a year now.  Trying this one more time before I find another brand...

 

My wife and I are set to be enabled devices.  Arlo follows me when I'm home or away, but my wife's iphone always shows as unavailable.  I've deleted the app and downloaded it again and also deleted the account and reinvited my wife.  Nothing works.  Any ideas?

Which phone and OS?  That can be a clue.  Location service is properly enabled? Hate to suggest it but a factory reset of the phone may or may not help.  Have you opened a case with support?
