I granted access to two additional users but they are not getting the video recording email alerts. Is there a setting for this?

The recipients of alerts are specified in each rule. Did you add the email addresses to the respective rules for each camera?

Granting access to a (new) user merely allows them to log on to your Arlo system, it does not automatically notify them of motion alerts via email.

However, they should receive push alerts through the app, if push alerts have been configured to be sent for a particular motion event. But for email alerts you have to specify each recipient explicitly in each rule.

har72752,

For detailed instructions on how to add additional users to email alerts as Schorschi describes above, take a look at this article: How do I set up notifications or alerts?

Please let us know if you need additional help,

I have granted granted access to my wife using her email address. But she is not getting any motion alerts on her email. Does she need to load the app on her phone? Can't figure out what I am missing her.

thanks

Yes, the app is required and the steps in the email sent when you granted access need to be followed to complete the registration.

KenLisa,

If you want alerts sent to her email you would need to add her email address to the rules for each camera you want the alert sent from.

Take a look here for instructions on where to navigate within the UI: How do I turn on/off email notifications?

Use the green + button to add an additional email address to the email alert field and be sure to click "Save" to commit changes. This needs to be done for each rule that you want to send a motion detection alert.
