What does "7 days of free cloud storage" mean?
Hi, I'm just opening the box on a single camera to monitor my mother's front door. I have no prior experience so bear with me.
Does it mean that the video feed automatically overwrites every 7 days? Or does it mean I have to pay for cloud storage after 7 days?
Thanks

it means on the basic level ( or free ) the data will reside on the server for 7 days... On the 8th day, day number 1 data will be deleted....
It's not a problem as if you want to save anything ,you can d/l it to your local computer ( from the library ( data storage area )).

I have just installed my Arol wireless camera and things are working well.
Since it's a second floor mounting (under my seffite) to protect the camera from theft, I have to have the sensitivity set at 100% to capture movement in my driveway. It does capture cars going by, but that is okay as when I reduce it to 90% I don't capture anything.
I am okay with that, but my question is:
If I delete unwanted 10 second videos on a daily basis, will my free one week (1GB) cloud storage roll over also? And how can I monitor how much cloud storage I am currently using?
Thanks,
Mike

You DO NOT have to monitor you amount of storage anymore... even tho the docs still mention 1 gb for free, there is NO limit any more.
Just let the 7 day limit auto delete your files.... ( download any thing you really want , cause once gone, its gone now )
