We have four cameras and only want one as motion detect. Worked just fine u til the app updated now it will only allow us to turn motion on or off on all or nothing. Please help.
The two default modes are ARMED ( all on ) and DISARMED ( all off )
You need to create a new MODE for the ONE camera you want motion detect on.
Go to MODE, click on the base icon to open up the list of modes
Bottom has a button CREATE NEW MODE... use it and follow steps

What if I want TWO cameras on motion detect and ONE without? I don't see a way to do that as I can only select one MODE for the whole system.

You just need to edit your modes to include or exclude cameras. If excluded, motion detection won't happen but live view will still work.

OK... only 1 MODE can run at a time important** So what you need is to create more modes that covers the cams wanted
so , you have cameras A,B,C
two defaults are ARMED ( all on ), and DISARMED ( all off )
All of the combos are as follows;
create a new Mode that includes A
create a new Mode that includes B
create a new Mode that includes C
create a new Mode that includes A & B
create a new Mode that includes A & C
create a new Mode that includes B & C
Pick the modes from above that you need/want and create them from MODES, click on base icon/current mode so mode list pops up. Bottom of page has CREATE MODE..follow steps and add the first camera, set record time and sensitivity...when finished SAVE. If you need to add a second camera, then go back and edit that new Mode using the edit pencil, and click ADD A RULE..to add another camera.....save when finished
