I have a dog at home and do not need 200 emails - I get the app notification on my phone and that is enough.

Yes, you can turn off email....
go to SETTINGS, RULES for the camera in question
down the right page see Send EMAILS to this LIST... click on " > "
Click on the "check" mark to toggle on or off ( green is active )
HIT SAVE ON EXIT

Unfortunately that does not work - i saved it and the words changed to black from green but I still get the email
I think you may have to write a new rule that does not include emailing

You have to turn off the email address for each camera... just in case you didn't and the mails are from multi cameras.
Also, creating a new rule for that/the camera would work too if then the MODE is also changed ( rule in that mode toggled on/off )

OK, i am seeing what has happened - I did turn them ALL off, and saved each rule after I turned each one off. When I go back into each rule it is back green again - how could that happen??

I think i have figured it out - you have to click save on the individual rule AND then click save AGAIN when t goes back to the list of camera rules.
Now when I go back in the emails are black
Of course that doesn't make a lot of sense that you have to save in both locations - but if it works...

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! 🙂
It's not particularly intuitive that ONLY in that one case there are multiple Save buttons to hit. I see the logic but when everything else only requires one Save, you don't go looking for a second one. Bit me in the buns early on, too.
