Hello, I have the most basic setup with one base and one arlo wire free camera.  I just set this up 3 days ago and it's installed about 9 feet high with full battery.

 

The mode i am using is the default "Armed" mode with everything configured as default.  The motion detection works great during the day and record then alert me everytime.  However, the camera doesn't detect any motion during the night and will not record or alert at all.  I tried to stand in front of the camera and trigger the motion detection from 8pm - 9pm with no luck.  I can Live view and manual record without any issues. 

 

I am not using any custom scheduling monitoring and just the default setting.  Can anyone shed any light?

How close were you to the camera when it failed to detect motion?  Also, just to be sure, is the running man in the Cameras tab black or gray when you try this?  Should be black, especially since you're just using the Armed mode and not the schedule.

 

Have you tried the motion detection test in Settings, My Devices for the camera at night?

I was testing from all areas within the monitored zone. Basically everything I tested during the day worked but none of the test I duplicate at night worked. I have tried every setting you mentioned with no results

It might be worthwhile to remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync it.  If that still has the same issue, create a trouble ticket since the camera may be bad or there may be some other steps to get it to work.
