I recently purchased an Arlo Wireless system with 2 cameras and I do really like the system and its versativity. However, I cannot for the life of me understand how modes and schedules are applied. I have watched your Youtube videos and it seems that the app in the video is different than mine. For instance, In the video, it says to create Rules under settings. My app has no way to create a rule under settings. I have to do that in Modes. However, in Modes, when I create a rule, I see no way to create a schedule for that particular rule. My particular rule (that I would want to set)  would be to Set motion on and record when motion is detected for all cameras from 6 PM at night to 6 AM in the morning then set all cameras to disarm for all 7 days of the week. I cannot seem to get this done. Another question is "what does the color of the led on the camera mean?" Mine blinks yellow when motion is detected no matter what mode is in use. The only time it blinks blue is when it syncs with the base (as in on start up).

Please help me unstand this camera. I do so want to use it rather than running wire to hardwire a video monitoring system. Thanks

You're seeing the old app. Check to the right of these messages for Announcements and try using those links and videos. If nothing else, use the Mode tab and you log in, choose your system, and create a new mode. As you step through that you'll create a rule to start with. You can't muck things up - all you have to do is either edit or delete the Mode until you're comfortable and understand how things work.
